This four-star spot sits right on East 62nd Street, and if you know anything about the Upper East Side, that’s prime real estate territory. You’re literally a block from Central Park, which means morning jogs without having to navigate through tourist crowds downtown.
The Juliet balcony they’re talking about isn’t some tiny afterthought – it’s actually charming, just like they claim. I mean, you can’t really step out onto it, but the French doors open wide and let in this incredible light that makes the whole studio feel twice as big. The space itself is well thought out in that New York way where every inch counts. The kitchen area is compact but functional (I managed to make decent coffee and simple meals), and honestly, the bed was way more comfortable than I expected. What really got me was the attention to detail – good lighting for reading, enough outlets for all your devices, and storage that doesn’t feel like an afterthought. The building’s quiet too, which in New York is worth its weight in gold.
Here’s what I really appreciate about this place – the location gives you that authentic Upper East Side experience without the stuffiness. You’ve got Bloomingdale’s a few blocks south if you’re into shopping, but more importantly, you’re near all these great neighborhood spots that tourists usually miss. There’s this little Italian place around the corner that locals swear by, and the whole area has this residential vibe that makes you feel less like a visitor and more like you’re actually living in the city for a while. The building itself is well-maintained (the elevator’s reliable, which trust me, matters in older NYC buildings), and check-in was smooth – no standing around wondering if your room would be ready. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if you want to be close to Central Park but away from the Times Square chaos.

Comfortable Bed and a nice bathroom. Overall the apartment didn’t feel cramped like other hotel rooms for example.
What could be improved: The road outside is extremely noisy because of everyone constantly honking.
If it’s warm outside and you don’t have ac the windows have to stay open all night. We brought some earplugs and it was ok. Windows closed was no problem.
Terrifying Experience No Guest Should Go Through
I stayed at this property recently and had an absolutely terrifying experience. At nearly midnight, while I was asleep, two strangers used a working access code to unlock the door and enter my apartment. I woke up in complete panic, having no idea who they were or what was happening. As a solo female traveler, it was one of the most frightening moments of my life.
The couple had mistakenly arrived a day early for their booking—but the real issue is that their code still worked. During my active reservation, their code granted them access to the apartment I was sleeping in. That should never be possible. It was a clear and serious failure of the property’s security system.
I left the apartment immediately, completely shaken.
While management initially apologized and issued a refund, they stopped responding after that. Despite multiple attempts to discuss fair compensation for the trauma and disruption I experienced, the manager chose not to engage in any further conversation.

Our stay was excellent and a lot of fun and in a very convenient location.
The location was fantastic and close to buses and subways. Walking was easy, and whether we took a cab or took the subway, they were accessible to us. The size of the space was good for a studio, particularly in NYC. The codes for entry into the building and our apartment were easy to use. The property managers were attentive and quick to reply to any questions or concerns.
What could be improved: The bed was too soft. Hooks had fallen off in the bathroom so we had to dry towels over chairs, etc.

The studio was very nice, spacious and accommodating. The kitchen exceptionally well equipped.
What could be improved: The minor things were it was a bit cold even with the space heater.
And I wasn’t very comfortable with the shades not covering the top portion of the windows.
