What really sets this four-star property apart is how they’ve figured out the whole extended-stay thing without making it feel institutional. The suites are honestly bigger than some Manhattan apartments I’ve seen, with actual kitchens that aren’t just a sad mini-fridge and microwave combo. I mean, you’ve got full-size appliances and granite countertops – not exactly what you’d expect at this price point in New York. The separate living areas actually work for spreading out after a long day of walking around the city, and the beds are surprisingly comfortable (I’m picky about this stuff).

You know what really sold me though? The location is just smart. You’re right on Broadway but tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with the complete chaos of Times Square tourists 24/7. Central Park is literally across the street, which is perfect for morning runs or just escaping the concrete jungle when you need to breathe. And here’s something most people don’t realize – you can walk to Lincoln Center in about ten minutes, Columbus Circle is right there, and the subway situation is actually manageable from this spot. The 1, A, C, B, and D trains are all within easy walking distance, so you’re not stuck with just one sketchy line if there are delays.

The evening social hours are hit or miss depending on when you’re there – sometimes it’s pretty lively with interesting people, other times it feels a bit forced. But the complimentary breakfast is actually decent (not just stale bagels and sad coffee), and they keep it stocked well into the morning rush. Parking is expensive, but honestly, that’s just Manhattan – at least they have valet service so you don’t have to deal with street parking nightmares. One small thing that bugged me was the elevator wait times during busy periods, but the staff mentioned they’re working on that.
