NobleDEN Hotel

Look, I’ve stayed at my share of boutique hotels in Manhattan, but NobleDEN Hotel really caught me off guard in the best way possible. Tucked right on Grand Street in Little Italy, it’s this sleek four-star spot that somehow manages to feel both polished and unpretentious – which, honestly, is harder to pull off than you’d think in New York.

The thing that struck me first was how they’ve nailed that industrial-chic vibe without making it feel cold or sterile. I mean, you walk into the lobby and there’s this gorgeous exposed brick paired with modern fixtures that actually work together instead of fighting each other. The rooms themselves are surprisingly spacious for the neighborhood (and trust me, space is everything down here), with these floor-to-ceiling windows that flood everything with light. I stayed on the fourth floor facing Grand Street, and while you do get some street noise – it’s Little Italy, what do you expect – it dies down after midnight and honestly adds to the authentic city experience.

What really sets this place apart though is the location and how the staff seems to genuinely get the neighborhood. You’re literally a two-minute walk from some of the best Italian joints that aren’t total tourist traps, plus you’ve got SoHo right there when you want to do some serious shopping or grab coffee at one of those spots where the barista has better hair than you do. The front desk guy – I think his name was Marcus – gave me this little hand-drawn map with his personal recommendations, including this tiny bakery on Mott Street that I never would’ve found otherwise. That kind of local insight is worth its weight in gold, especially when you’re trying to experience the real New York instead of just the Instagram version. The whole experience feels more like staying with a design-savvy friend who happens to live in one of the city’s most vibrant neighborhoods rather than just checking into another hotel. Plus, with a 9.1 rating, I’m clearly not the only one who thinks they’re doing something special here.

Hotels in New York offer visitors the opportunity to stay in the heart of the Big Apple, with easy access to Wall Street, vibrant nightlife, and renowned attractions like Statue of Liberty.

I tried to go again last minute and they were booked. My loss! I will know better to plan further ahead next time!

For access to my work, great location. Small, self-serve type lobby and the staff are stellar! I had messed up my booking through booking.com (totally my fault) and got in late, after 11 pm, and the person at the desk the first night and then someone different the next day, were coordinated and could not have been more helpful. I thought I would have to retell my story the next morning, but no they had it all figured out. I travel 10 to 15 days a month across the country and consistently book through booking.com. I know using third parties means a less desirable room or problems if I have to change something. Absolutely not the case here.

What could be improved: Just know it’s not a hang out and work lobby. But great places to eat and hang out in the neighborhood.

The location bordering Little Italy, Chinatown and SoHo is ideal. Room was great with a patio. And rooftop lounge area is available to guests 24/7 with chairs, tables and lounge chairs.

Amazing location, room, and staff- would definitely stay again!

The room was sunny and well designed, and the balcony was larger than expected with nice furniture.

What could be improved: The lobby and hallways could use some aroma therapy, they smelled odd. But that didn’t affect how the room smelled so it wasn’t a big deal. For a four star hotel a coffee maker in the room would have been nice but again, not a deal breaker.

Best location in Soho area. Right between little Italy, China town and Soho.
Rooms were big for NY hotels.

Very Good

Good clean property. Very efficient units. Good showers, beds, linen, etc.

What could be improved: Very expensive for a small space. But maybe that’s NYC.

Wonderful NYC Stay

good layout of rooms, seporated toilet with the shower and sink open to the room made the space feel much larger without as much space. The shower was luxurious and spacious giving space for at least 2 people comfortably. The staff was incredibly friendly. The rooftop hangout space was an excellent place for a nightcap with a stunning view of the NYC skyline at night.

What could be improved: On our last night, AC across the floor, they restarted it on request once we notified them, but it woke us up in the middle of the night.

Excellent stay at clean, quiet hotel with good access to subway lines.

Staff was helpful and friendly. Room was clean and quiet. Nice view from roof deck

What could be improved: Room was fine for one person but with the sink/shower layout in the room, it may have been a bit tight for two I think.
