I’ll be honest – when I first walked into Club Quarters Hotel World Trade Center, New York, I wasn’t expecting much from what looked like just another business hotel. But this four-star place on Washington Street actually surprised me in the best way possible.
The location is what really got me. I mean, you’re literally steps from the 9/11 Memorial, and I could see One World Trade Center from my room window – which, honestly, never gets old even after staying here a few times for work. What I love is that you’re in the thick of everything downtown, but Washington Street itself is quieter than you’d expect. The subway connections are fantastic (you’ve got like four different lines within a few blocks), and Stone Street’s restaurants are right around the corner. Actually, that whole cobblestone area feels like old New York, which is a nice contrast to all the gleaming new towers.
The rooms themselves are what I’d call “smartly small” – they’ve clearly thought about every inch of space without making it feel cramped. The beds are surprisingly comfortable, and the blackout curtains actually work, which matters when you’re dealing with all those downtown lights. I particularly appreciated the work desk setup since I end up doing calls from the room, and the WiFi never gave me trouble. The bathrooms are modern and well-lit, though the shower pressure can be a bit hit-or-miss depending on which floor you’re on. What really impressed me was how quiet it stays at night – I was worried about street noise, but their windows do a solid job blocking it out. The fitness center is small but has everything you actually need, and I noticed they keep it clean and well-maintained. Check-in is usually smooth, though I’d avoid arriving during the afternoon rush when all the business travelers descend at once. The front desk staff knows the neighborhood really well too – they pointed me toward this great little coffee spot on Greenwich Street that I never would have found otherwise. You know what’s funny? For a business-focused hotel, it doesn’t feel stuffy at all. Sure, you’ll see plenty of suits in the lobby during the week, but the vibe stays pretty relaxed. And being in New York’s Financial District means you get that authentic downtown energy without the Times Square chaos. If you’re planning to explore Brooklyn, the walk to Brooklyn Bridge is maybe ten minutes, and South Street Seaport is even closer when you want decent waterfront dining.

Very Good
Great location, friendly and helpful staff, can't fault it really!
What could be improved: Nothing a part from the rooms being slightly on the small side but was fine for one person

What could be improved: It is most definitely the place for long stay!
It was amazing
Very nice and central location, easy access to the subway and the water dispenser was a great idea
What could be improved: I wasn’t given a room with city view
Excellent place to stay in Manhattan and the WTC memorial park is a great place to walk around and r
I stay at Club Quarters in NYC since 2011 and the WTC location is excellent

Great day
The location was great. The restaurant was great.
What could be improved: The natural light in the room was poor due to a small window. I was on the 2nd floor.
Wonderful
The Option to get free coffee, tea, water was amazing, especially singe water and coffe is otherwise Kind of expensive in New York.
Grabbing a coffee in the Morning and enjoying the View on the rooftop was Nice.
Very Good
The comfortable bed and pillows!
Best Value on WTC area
Everything is great although the rooms are very small! It has water filters either bottles, free laundry! Amazing!
What could be improved: Nothing
I Would Try Again
For it to be dispositioned as a "small" queen, it was quite roomy. There wasn't any esthetically to complain about. I loved the design of the room. It wasn't wall to wall bed.
What could be improved: I wasn't there long enough for these issues to be a huge detriment but the shower head had black mold and both the remote and thermostat needed to be charged or recalibrated because every time I touched the screen or pushed a button, the devices did something other than what I was trying to do, if they did anything at all. A TV guide of what channels are actually available would be nice rather than skipping around so that patrons can see what they have access to. I tried at least 4x to just use the numbers instead of the channel up and channel down and it didn't work. The shower is incredibly small and while I loved having space in the room, I feel like the shower was the sacrifice. Upon my PREPAID check in, I was not only charged the refundable deposit but an additional $107.85 even after Devell acknowledged that I was already paid in full. I was told it was taken care of but given it shouldn't have happened to begin with, I feel like I may have to call back.
Great location with clean room
Check in and check out were very easy. Location was great. Hotel was clean and quiet. Front desk staff helped me get into a room quicker than my room was going to be ready.
What could be improved: I wasn't told how to get on Wifi, I saw the email after I checked out. I wish I was told more about the amenities like the roof top restaurant or anything else on location.
