The location was excellent, very close to the subway and attractions. Room was spacious and well distributed. King size bed was very comfortable and amenities were great. Staff was super accommodating and friendly. Never had to wait and the front desk was super fast!

The concierge, who takes bags, and whose name is Bobby, was extraordinary, unbelievable. The UN summit was going on while I was there, and it so happened that the president was leaving town and 50th St was closed. He called a car for me, asked the doorman to go meet and hold it two blocks away, and then walked me and my suitcases to meet them. Otherwise I would have missed my flight. and they were so nice.

We booked this late in our planning but what a happy thing that was. A great location, subway just around the corner, a good diner for breakfast opposite. Our room (505) had no outlook but was wonderfully quiet and the bed was great. Bathroom a little small and shower over the bath but many hotels are like that in the city and there was a good grab rail anyway. Tip: if you're older like me, travel with a small suction bath mat which will prevent slipping in a bath tub.
