You know what’s brilliant about the location on West 38th Street? You’re literally in the heart of everything, but it’s not Times Square chaos. I mean, you can walk to Bryant Park in about five minutes, and the Empire State Building is practically next door. The Garment District has this energy during the day that’s really unique — you’ll see fashion industry folks rushing around with fabric samples and design sketches. Plus, getting around is incredibly easy with multiple subway lines within a few blocks. The neighborhood offers an authentic slice of Manhattan that balances accessibility with local character.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in had these amazing floor-to-ceiling windows that made the space feel much larger than typical Manhattan hotel rooms. The bed situation is no joke — I actually slept better there than I do at home, and the linens feel expensive in that way where you want to check the thread count. The restaurant has this great rooftop component that most people don’t know about until they’re staying there. The service throughout the hotel feels attentive without being hovering, which can be tricky to pull off in busy Midtown.
