NoMo SoHo
I'll be honest - when I first walked into NoMo SoHo on Crosby Street, I wasn't sure what to expect from this four-star spot tucked between the cobblestones and cast-iron facades.
I’ll be honest – when I first walked into NoMo SoHo on Crosby Street, I wasn’t sure what to expect from this four-star spot tucked between the cobblestones and cast-iron facades. But you know what? It completely won me over with this whole understated elegance thing it has going on. The lobby feels more like stepping into a really well-designed friend’s apartment than a typical hotel – there’s this warm, almost residential vibe that somehow manages to feel both intimate and sophisticated at the same time.
What really struck me about staying here is how it sits right in the sweet spot of SoHo without being overwhelming. I mean, you’re literally a two-minute walk from some of the best shopping and galleries in New York, but Crosby Street itself stays relatively quiet – well, as quiet as Manhattan gets anyway. The rooms have this clean, modern aesthetic with really thoughtful touches like proper blackout curtains (trust me, you’ll appreciate this) and surprisingly spacious bathrooms for the area. Actually, the whole place feels bigger than you’d expect given the neighborhood’s typical cramped quarters. I stayed on the fourth floor and barely heard street noise, which honestly surprised me given how close you are to Broadway’s chaos.
The staff here actually seems to know the neighborhood inside and out, which makes a huge difference when you’re trying to navigate SoHo’s maze of one-way streets and hidden gems. They pointed me toward this little coffee spot on Spring Street that I never would’ve found otherwise, and their restaurant recommendations were spot-on – not the usual tourist traps you get at most hotels. The whole experience feels thoughtfully curated rather than cookie-cutter corporate, if that makes sense. Sure, it’s not the flashiest place you’ll ever stay, and the lobby can get a bit busy during fashion week when everyone’s in town, but there’s something refreshing about a hotel that doesn’t try too hard to impress you with gimmicks and just focuses on getting the basics really, really right.

Great hotel and excellent location to explore NY
Excellent location. Close to subway and a huge amount of shops and restaurants. SoHo has a real vibe and NoMo SoHo is very much in line with this. Friendly staff
What could be improved: No pool or anything like that
I come to NYC every year for the US Open and stay at NoMo Soho. It’s comfortable, clean and the staff is always helpful.
Convenience, comfort and staff
Great hotel in a fab location, close to Little Italy, SoHo shopping
Trendy, vibey, gorgeous decor
What could be improved: It would be great to have coffee in the room
Good
Perfect location
Great views in the room
Hotel staff was nice and welcoming
What could be improved: Small room with little bathroom space
No AC in the bathroom so humidity spread out in the room after showering
Recurring noise from neighbours across the corridor, and the hotel didn’t pay attention
Be careful with the bank card you are using for deposit. As Europeans, we only have debit cards and the deposit was charged and only credited back to my account 25 days after check-out
We were charged for a meal that was not ours, we were rushed at the restaurant even if we were in the working hours, a l
Nice decor, close to Broadway and shops
What could be improved: Neighbourhood, staff were unpolite and they try to charge extra anytime they can, very expensive and bad coffee, compared to the cool coffee shops in Manhattan. Very small room (we were 4 pers).
Great hotel, great vibes
Pros: location, very clean, beautiful hotel, delicious food. People in the front desk very kind and helpful.
What could be improved: Cons: size of the bedroom, but I get it, it’s New York. The design of the shower must be reevaluated. Other than that was a very enjoyable stay.

Loved the hotel. Very beautiful entrance and restaurant. The location was perfect.
The room was a good size for NYC. We were on the 8th floor so the view was OK.
