Millennium Premier New York Times Square
You know what really struck me about the Millennium Premier New York Times Square?
You know what really struck me about the Millennium Premier New York Times Square? It’s actually tucked away on 44th Street in a way that feels almost… sneaky for a four-star hotel in this madhouse of a neighborhood. I mean, you’re literally a two-minute walk from the chaos of Times Square, but the moment you step inside, there’s this immediate sense of calm that honestly surprised me.
The lobby has this modern, sleek vibe – lots of dark wood and clean lines – but it doesn’t feel cold or corporate like some of these Midtown places can. What I really appreciated was how the staff actually seemed to know what they were doing during check-in, which sounds basic but trust me, in New York that’s not always a given. The elevators are reasonably fast too, which matters when you’re on the 20th floor and running late for a Broadway show (learned that one the hard way). The rooms themselves are well, they’re New York hotel rooms – not huge, but smartly designed with good lighting and blackout curtains that actually work. That last part is crucial because the street noise isn’t terrible, but you’ll hear some sirens and late-night foot traffic if you’re a light sleeper.
Here’s the thing though – the location is kind of perfect if you’re doing the full tourist thing. You can walk to most of the Broadway theaters in under ten minutes, and there’s a decent deli right around the corner on 8th Avenue that locals actually go to, not just tourists. The hotel restaurant is fine for breakfast, nothing spectacular but the coffee is solid and they don’t rush you out. I actually spent a morning there just people-watching through the windows, which was surprisingly entertaining. Parking is expensive (shocking, I know), but there’s a garage practically next door if you’re crazy enough to drive in Manhattan. The fitness center is small but functional – a few treadmills and basic equipment that gets the job done if you need to burn off all those New York bagels. What really impressed me was the housekeeping – rooms were consistently clean and they didn’t mess with your stuff, which sounds obvious but you’d be amazed how often that goes wrong. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the building, and the business center is useful if you need to print boarding passes or deal with work emails. It’s not the fanciest place you’ll ever stay, but it hits that sweet spot of being comfortable, well-located, and professionally run without feeling stuffy or overpriced for what you get in this part of town.
Hotels near me in New York offer convenient access to iconic landmarks, where guests can easily walk to Empire State Building, Central Park, and world-renowned restaurants in diverse neighborhoods.

Fun location but too small room and bad breakfast
Location
What could be improved: Confusion finding it, horrible “breakfast “. Small continental only and only take away. Ugh
Location and value is unmatched unless you consider the staff who were all steller!!
Location location!
What could be improved: The water did not get hot enough
Very good.
Location, breakfast, room.
What could be improved: One of the elevators wasn´t working, so moving from different floors was slow.
Wonderful
Clean, spacious, conveniently located.
Very Good
Nice location in the center.
What could be improved: No fridge.
Wonderful
The breakfast was a little sparse in choices but overall a great stay. I will be returning. The location was perfect. The room was bigger than others I have stayed in in Manhattan.
Super.will return
Location. Grab &Go breakfast
Quick elevators
Very good, comfortable hotel in great central location but needs a breakfast room and better breakfast. Needs a breakfa
Big clean comfortable rooms and location. Quiet rooms despite being around corner from Time Machine Square.
What could be improved: Takeaway breakfast which was very basic, neither of which we expected (not clear on booking.com description) and were disappointed by. We had to go out for breakfast each day because there was barely anything and eg stuff was in cellophane so we didn’t know how old eg croissants were. So this cost us money we hadn’t budgeted for. We wanted to have a table to sit at and more choice.
Overall was happy with the stay. Loved the location
Very convenient location!! Room was comfortable. Good value. Staff was friendly. Great view of where the New Year’s Eve ball drops.
What could be improved: There were two lights in the room that the switches were broken. One in the entryway could not be turned off which was annoying at night to sleep with the light on.
Wonderful
Friendly staff, super helpful
