Honestly, when I first walked up to LES is MORE stunning views on Delancey Street, I wasn’t sure what to expect – the name’s a bit quirky, you know? But once I got inside this three-star spot, I actually found myself pretty charmed by the whole setup. The lobby has this sort of industrial-chic thing going on that feels right at home in the Lower East Side, and yeah, they weren’t kidding about those views. From the upper floors, you can see clear across the East River, and if you’re lucky enough to snag a room facing Manhattan Bridge, well – let’s just say your Instagram’s going to be very happy.
What I really appreciated was how the place manages to feel both distinctly New York and genuinely comfortable at the same time. The rooms aren’t huge (this is Manhattan, after all), but they’re thoughtfully designed with these great floor-to-ceiling windows that make the space feel bigger than it actually is. I mean, the bathroom’s compact, sure, but everything works well and the shower pressure is surprisingly good – something you can’t always count on in older NYC buildings. The staff here actually knows the neighborhood, too, which makes a difference. When I asked about late-night eats, the front desk guy didn’t just hand me a generic list – he pointed me toward Russ & Daughters down the street and mentioned that Clinton Street Baking Company gets crazy busy on weekends (he was right on both counts).
Location-wise, you’re right in the thick of everything that makes the Lower East Side interesting. Katz’s Deli is basically around the corner, the tenement museums are a short walk, and you’ve got easy subway access on Delancey for when you want to venture uptown. It can get a bit lively on weekend nights – the area has quite the bar scene – but honestly, that’s part of the charm. The double-paned windows do a decent job keeping the street noise manageable, though light sleepers might want to pack earplugs just in case. I stayed here during a quieter Tuesday-Thursday stretch and found it perfectly peaceful for working during the day, then stepped right out into one of the city’s most vibrant food scenes when I was ready to explore. For the price point and the neighborhood, it’s a solid choice if you want to experience authentic New York energy without breaking the bank on accommodation.

Superbe vue, mais je n'ai pas pu cuisiner pour limiter les repas au restaurant
vue magnifique, pratique car proche station ligne J
What could be improved: Cuisine peu aménagée.
A nice apmt in a handy location with stunning views sadly let down by lack of organisation, information and communicatio
Location and stunning views
What could be improved: The address on Booking.com is incorrect. It is 125 not 150. We did not receive the information email so had no idea where to go or what number apartment. Fortunately Lawrence answered the phone number given and told us the correct address and apmt number. We should have received an email which we didn’t and was due to a new booing system not functioning properly apparently. I then received an SMS message apologising and attaching the info I should have received. There was no attachment. Despite replying asking for the attachment and also details of the WiFi I received no response. We therefore had no WiFi for the duration of our stay despite the description saying there was free WiFi. This is costly when you’re from the U.k.!
The kitchen was well equipped although we had no idea about what to do with trash collection etc. or how to work various appliances. I assume this would have been in the email not received.
The TV and box stopped working on Day 2 and we couldn’t get anything up (even basic live TV) for the remainder of our stay.
Our access fob did not work to let us onto the balcony on Floor 6. (The apmt does not have a balcony).
The apmt was not as clean as I would have expected. The floor was quite gritty and the bottom of my white socks were very dirty after walking round the apmt in them.
Wonderful
What could be improved: Very noisy, even 17 flights up. Windows not insulated.
