Hotel Seville NoMad – The Unbound Collection by Hyatt
I'll be honest, when I first walked into Hotel Seville NoMad - The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, I wasn't sure what to expect from this stretch of East 29th Street.
I’ll be honest, when I first walked into Hotel Seville NoMad – The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, I wasn’t sure what to expect from this stretch of East 29th Street. But you know what? This four-star spot really surprised me in the best way possible.
The building itself has this gorgeous Spanish Revival architecture that feels completely unexpected in Manhattan – I mean, you’re literally surrounded by the typical New York mix of office buildings and newer constructions, then suddenly there’s this beautiful terracotta facade that looks like it belongs in Andalusia. The lobby actually made me do a double-take with its hand-painted tiles and wrought iron details. It’s not huge or flashy, but there’s something genuinely sophisticated about it that doesn’t feel forced. The front desk staff knew their stuff too – they pointed me toward a fantastic little coffee spot on 28th that I never would’ve found otherwise.
What I really appreciated was how they’ve managed to keep that boutique hotel feel without sacrificing the reliability you expect from Hyatt. The rooms are well-designed (not just pretty, but actually functional), and honestly, the soundproofing is better than most places in Midtown. You’re close enough to all the action – Madison Square Garden is literally a ten-minute walk, and you can hit both the East Village and Chelsea Market without breaking a sweat – but the NoMad neighborhood itself has this slightly calmer vibe that I found refreshing. The Ace Hotel crowd spills over sometimes, which keeps things interesting, and there’s this whole cluster of really solid restaurants within a few blocks. I grabbed dinner at Eleven Madison Park one night (yeah, splurged a bit), but there are plenty of more casual spots too. The hotel’s restaurant does a decent Spanish-influenced menu, though I’d probably venture out for most meals just because the neighborhood options are so good. One small thing – the elevators can be a bit slow during busy periods, but that’s pretty typical for these older converted buildings. Overall, it’s the kind of place that feels special without trying too hard, which is harder to find in New York than you’d think.
New York’s apartments offer urban accommodations with skyline views, perfect for families wanting to experience daily life in this culturally rich American metropolis.

Perfect spot near Murray Hill and easy access to the subway to points SOHO
Location was excellent! Room was large and clean. Good shower and towels. Staff is friendly especially door and desk.
What could be improved: Hallways were a bit run down carpet wise. The elevator lights didn’t all shine and were smaller than usual.
Good
Location, bed
What could be improved: Staff not very smiling.
I’ve asked for a late checkout at one guy he didn’t even check and said no
I called two hours later another guy said yes no problem
FYI: first time I’ve asked it was 6 am
Great hotel with nice staff!
The hotel was close to everything without being in congested Time Square. The staff was extremely nice and made sure we had everything we needed!
What could be improved: The refrigerator in our room was out of order and we didn’t know until we opened the cabinet and seen an “out of order” sign on it. I was slightly annoyed as we had just gotten drinks to stock the fridge with. However, a quick call down to the front desk and the brought up a mini fridge shortly after.
Pleasant stay.
Nothing, everything is great
What could be improved: Location is great in Manhattan, we could walk to Korea town and could see the Empire State building from lobby window. The hotel is clean and the mattress is very comfortable.
GOOD LOCATION. HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY STAFF.
THE ROOM WAS SPACIOUS. THE LOCATION IS CENTRAL AND THE STAFF MEMBERS ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL, PARTICULARLY THE DOORMEN.
What could be improved: ROOM LOCATION FACING THE STREET WAS EXTREMELY NOISY, HARD TO REST WITH ALL THE NOISE HAPPENING ON THE STREET AT NIGHT. WINDOWS ARE NOT SOUNDPROOF. ALSO, THE NOISE FROM ALL THE AC SYSTEMS IN THE BUILDING DID NOT HELP. INDIVIDUAL ROOMS DO NOT HAVE A COFFEE/TEA MAKER OR ACCESS TO A VENDING MACHINE OR ICE MACHINE. ONE HAS TO GO DOWN TO THE LOBBY OR THE BAR.
Wonderful
The location, the lobby, the spacious room.
Wonderful
Location, lobby, space, furniture
Nice hotel in a good location. Our room was very spacious and beds very comfortable
Great location, large clean room. Housekeepers excellent
Fancy living in a good area
Nice and clean, feels fancy.
What could be improved: Sometimes the doormen were really polite and sometimes they didn’t seem to care.
Excellent location, generous rooms and close to many great restaurants
Really stylish hotel in a fantastic location. Room size was generous and definitely big enough for 2 people.
What could be improved: The doormen weren’t very friendly and we were ignored most of the time when arriving or leaving the hotel. The female reception staff were friendly, but the same can not be said about the men.
