First Impressions
Walking into the Holiday Inn Wall Street, an IHG Hotel, you immediately sense you’re in the heart of Manhattan’s financial district — and honestly, that’s exactly what makes this place work. The lobby has that clean, business-focused vibe you’d expect from a three-star property, but there’s something reassuring about the familiar Holiday Inn reliability when you’re navigating the chaos of New York. The staff actually knows the neighborhood well, which I mean, becomes pretty valuable when you’re trying to figure out the subway or find a decent coffee shop at 6 AM.
Location Magic
Here’s what I love about Nassau Street — you’re literally steps from the 9/11 Memorial, Stone Street’s cobblestone bars, and the Staten Island Ferry terminal. The couples rating of 8.9 for location makes total sense because you can walk to Brooklyn Bridge at sunset, grab dinner in the South Street Seaport, and still feel like you’re staying somewhere authentic rather than touristy. Wall Street itself gets surprisingly quiet after business hours, so you’re not dealing with Times Square madness, but the subway connections (especially the 4, 5, 6 trains) get you anywhere in the city pretty quickly.
The Room Experience
The room setup is straightforward Holiday Inn — nothing fancy, but everything works. You know what I appreciate? The windows actually open a bit, which is rare in Manhattan hotels, and the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a jet engine. The beds are comfortable enough after long days of walking around the city, and there’s decent space to spread out your stuff. The bathrooms are compact but functional, and honestly, when you’re paying New York prices, functional goes a long way.
Breakfast and Dining
The breakfast situation here actually surprised me in a good way. They’ve got vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options that don’t feel like afterthoughts, plus the standard American breakfast fare. The breakfast-to-go option is clutch if you want to grab something and eat it while walking toward the Brooklyn Bridge or in Battery Park. There’s no on-site restaurant for dinner, but you’re in Lower Manhattan — some of the city’s best food is within a few blocks, from the old-school delis on Fulton Street to the newer spots popping up around the World Trade Center.
Why Guests Love It
This hotel works because it doesn’t try to be something it’s not. You’re getting solid three-star accommodations in one of the most expensive neighborhoods in America, with staff who understand that most guests are here to explore the city, not hang out in the hotel. The 7.1 rating reflects exactly what you’d expect — reliable, clean, well-located, without any major surprises good or bad. For couples especially, there’s something romantic about staying in the historic financial district and having easy access to waterfront walks and iconic views, all while avoiding the tourist circus of Midtown.

Guest Reviews
Everything is this place was good
Location, Staff & Bed
Excellent location, many restaurants and shops right around the hotel. Subway is close. Room is good. One thing- more light needed in the room (in the bathroom above the mirror and in the room where where the table is).
Absolutely loved the location was so close to subways everywhere and loads of great food choices around! It was far enough out of the centre that you could feel safe and relaxed and not too far it’s a problem! The photos are a great example of the rooms and location but imagine it smaller as it is!
The view from the hotel window was nice. The room was clean. Staff (although I didn't interact with them much) were very friendly and accommodating
stayed for 4 nights. Room very clean- staff lovely and welcoming. Fresh towels daily and coffee in the morning. Great location for 9/11 and very close subway stations for other attractions which are easy to work out. Good air con in room
