People at the friend desk (Martin, Laura & Heidi), house keeping and the cafe chefs were very friendly and helpful. The location was great - less than an hour from LaGuardia via Lyft on a very congested day. The cafe food (limited menus) were cook to order, small requests to change things were happily accepted. The guac toast with topping with corn was very good. Our room was right in front of 3 elevators, but we never heard a sound. Also, having 3 in the small floor building was super - never needed to wait. The room was relatively new and clean. The small view of heliport and ferry port plus the ocean was great - ferries and yachts going back and forth, helicopters in and out, it was an angle that was very enjoyable on sunny days we had. The room AC was super responsive and quiet enough at low wind setting. The window could crack open, so we took in early morning ocean breeze, which was nice. The gym was small but totally fair, with chilled water bottles. There was a laundry room in the basement, next to gym, if you care to use one. The lobby area mini kiosk shelves (which I didn't know existed until I checked out) had the laundry detergents, ice cream, frozen foods , and usual hotel kiosk snacks and items. A few minutes from the hotel was a walkway along the water where some people were jogging. There was a building across from the hotel and the basement was full of small eateries and cafes, busy with office people getting their lunches. (Morgan Stanley is in there, I believe)
