Walking into the Four Seasons Hotel New York on 57th Street feels like stepping into someone’s incredibly sophisticated private residence — if that someone happened to have impeccable taste and unlimited resources. The lobby isn’t massive or showy, which I actually appreciate. Instead, it’s this perfectly proportioned space with warm lighting and staff who somehow remember your name after one conversation. Honestly, the location is pretty much unbeatable if you want to be in the thick of things. The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was on the 35th floor, and well — the views are something else entirely. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame either Central Park or the city skyline, depending on which way you’re facing. But here’s what really impressed me: the bed situation is legitimately exceptional. I’m usually a light sleeper, but I slept like a rock every single night. The linens feel like they cost more than my monthly rent, and there’s this perfect balance of firm support with just enough softness. I had their duck breast one evening, and it was perfectly executed without being overly complicated. The spa on the 6th floor is where I spent way too much money, but honestly, their deep tissue massage was worth every penny after walking around Manhattan all day. They also have parking available, which is practically a miracle in this part of the city, though you’ll pay for the privilege.
