You’re close enough to hit the main attractions (Central Park’s northern end is practically next door), but far enough away that you can actually afford to eat dinner without taking out a second mortgage. The area gets quiet at night in a way that Midtown never does, which I found surprisingly peaceful after long days of walking around the city. Look, this isn’t the kind of place where you’ll Instagram your bathroom or brag about thread counts, but if you want a clean, comfortable base in an authentic neighborhood with genuinely helpful people – and you don’t want to blow your entire budget on accommodation – The Park Ave North delivers exactly what it promises, no more and no less.
