First Impressions

Walking into The Ned NoMad feels like stepping into a beautifully curated fever dream — and I mean that in the best possible way. This five-star luxury hotel occupies a stunning Beaux-Arts building that honestly makes you stop and stare before you even get through the revolving doors. The lobby hits you with this perfect mix of old-world grandeur and contemporary edge that somehow doesn’t feel forced or trying too hard. Every corner reveals thoughtful design choices that elevate the experience from the moment you arrive.

Location & Neighborhood

You know what’s brilliant about this spot? It’s right in the heart of NoMad, which means you’re basically at the crossroads of everything worth doing in Manhattan. I’m talking about being able to walk to the Empire State Building in about five minutes, or stroll down to Madison Square Park when you need a breather from the city chaos. The Broadway address puts you right on one of the most iconic streets in the world, but the hotel manages to feel like a sophisticated retreat from all that energy. The neighborhood itself is vibrant and walkable, with galleries, shops, and restaurants within easy reach.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was honestly impressive — high ceilings, massive windows that flood the space with natural light, and this attention to detail that you notice in the little things. The marble bathrooms are particularly stunning, and the beds are the kind you sink into after a long day of walking around the city. What struck me most was how they’ve managed to create spaces that feel both luxurious and livable, which isn’t always easy to pull off in Manhattan hotels. The furnishings are contemporary yet timeless, designed for both comfort and style.

Dining & Social Spaces

The restaurant scene here is actually something special — multiple dining concepts under one roof, each with its own personality. I spent way too much time in their main dining room, which has this incredible energy that shifts throughout the day. The cocktail program is solid too, and the rooftop space gives you those Manhattan views that never get old, no matter how many times you’ve seen them. The culinary offerings showcase both classic techniques and innovative flavors.

Why Guests Love It

Here’s the thing about The Ned NoMad — it gets the balance right between being a luxury destination and a practical base for exploring the city. The staff actually knows what they’re talking about when you ask for recommendations, and there’s this sense that they’ve thought through what modern travelers actually want. Couples particularly seem to love this place, and I can see why — it’s got that romantic, sophisticated vibe without being stuffy. The location alone makes it worth considering, but it’s the execution of the entire experience that makes it memorable. From the moment you check in to the moment you leave, every detail contributes to an exceptional stay.

New York’s hotels showcase the perfect blend of cosmopolitan sophistication and American hospitality, with many featuring rooftop bars and authentic New York cultural experiences.

Stellar

The location was great the live music was amazing! Very fun bar

What could be improved: The location of my room, it would have been nice to have a nicer view, It was our anniversary and a nice view would have definitely elevated the experience.
Lastly, 99 % of the staff we uncounted were nice and friendly however the night we checked in we went to your rooftop bar and were greeted by a gentleman (assuming the bar back) that was not happy we were there and was borderline rude, we did not feel welcome at all, due to this experience we did not revisit the roof top bar during the rest of our stay.

Everything else was great and overall really enjoyed our stay.

Very Good

The Ned Nomad is one of my favourite places in New York. Outstanding service and I am always made to feel I am home from home.

What could be improved: I would love it if the room service was 24 hours, but otherwise love it all.

Good.. but could be better. The staff needs training

The location and the Front desk staff you good!

What could be improved: The host and the staff at the Ceconi’s was just awful. The hospitality was awful. They couldn’t wait to get rid of you from the moment you sat down to eat.

Walking across to Joe and the Joe to get a cup of coffee was a better experience.

Beautiful hotel but expensive.

Furniture etc all top spec as you expect. Bed was super comfy. Rooftop was great.

What could be improved: The window in my room got stuck open so was noisy. No coffee machine in the room as standard.

Wonderful. Festive.

Very effective blending of original elements and contemporary details. Stunning city views. Comfortable bed and bedding. Perfect location. The bottle of champagne added sparkle to our anniversary celebration.

What could be improved: The bathroom arrangement was inconvenient.
We thought breakfast was included.
