SpringHill Suites by Marriott New York Manhattan Times Square
Look, I'll be honest – when I first walked into SpringHill Suites by Marriott New York Manhattan Times Square, I wasn't expecting much from a three-star place smack in the middle of tourist central.
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first walked into SpringHill Suites by Marriott New York Manhattan Times Square, I wasn’t expecting much from a three-star place smack in the middle of tourist central. But you know what? This place actually gets it right in ways that matter when you’re trying to survive Manhattan without going broke.
The location on 46th Street puts you literally in the eye of the storm – I mean, you’re basically living in a snow globe of Broadway marquees and street performers. Some people might find that overwhelming, but honestly, there’s something pretty magical about stepping out your front door and being hit with that wall of Times Square energy. The noise? Well, it’s New York – you didn’t come here for silence. Though I have to say, once you get up to your room, the windows do a decent job of muffling the chaos below. What I really appreciate is how walkable everything becomes from here. You can stumble to a Broadway show in five minutes, grab late-night pizza without freezing your face off, or even walk down to Bryant Park when you need a breather from all the neon.
The suites themselves are where this place really wins me over. Each room has this separate living area with a pull-out sofa, which sounds basic until you realize how rare it is to have actual space to spread out in New York. The kitchenette isn’t going to win any design awards, but it’s got a full-size fridge and a decent microwave – game changers when you’re tired of spending $20 on airport-quality sandwiches. I actually found myself using that little dining table more than I expected, whether for morning coffee or late-night work sessions. The beds are surprisingly comfortable too, with that firm-but-not-hard thing that Marriott seems to have figured out. And here’s a detail that matters more than you’d think: the shower has actual water pressure. I’ve stayed in fancier places where the water barely trickles out, so this was a pleasant surprise. The staff runs a tight ship without being stuffy about it – check-in was smooth even during the pre-theater rush, and they actually seem to know the neighborhood when you ask for recommendations. Sure, you’re paying Manhattan prices, but for what you get in terms of space and location, it feels fair rather than highway robbery.

Very Good
Location
What could be improved: AC went out on second evening. Staff got us a fan as it was a Sunday and no maintenance was available. Moved us to a new room next day. All good.
Very Good
The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout the stay.
Perfect location...right at the heart of Times Square making it easy to explore the city. Comfortable beds, relaxing ambience...
Wonderful
Clean room, friendly staff , very good breakfast , coffee and cookie at the lobby was great
What could be improved: Elevator waiting time, window view
We had a wonderful time - we stayed here because it’s just walking distance to all the Broadway shows
Breakfast ; helpful and courteous staff ; close to Broadway ;
What could be improved: Shower stall not well made / overspray or water always flowing out to bathroom floor; toilet area feels so tight and small - no lighting - one will feel claustrophobic if you close the door to toilet
Facility was great and would recommend.
Room was good. Location was great. Breakfast was very good.
What could be improved: Parking situation needed to be clearer.
This was a great value for its location. Very good service. Hope to stay here again!
The breakfast served was outstanding! Great variety. Friendly staff. All of the staff were very responsive.
What could be improved: One very small thing would be having the coffee ready in the lobby without having to ask a couple of times. But otherwise, all great!
Great location but that's about it
The location was the starlight of it. Room was very clean, we got 4th floor room so no great views but it was alright.
What could be improved: There was a lot of noise in the hallway, early in the morning, breakfast was cold, not enough variety and for the price I would expect at least a bottle of water in the mini fridge.
will surely recommend this
location is superb, room is big enough; breakfast is included which is very nice so we dont need to find food outside early in the morning. complimentary coffee and delicious cookies are the cherries on top 😍
