First Impressions
Walking into Romer Hell’s Kitchen, you immediately get that “this is exactly where I want to be” feeling. The lobby has this modern, understated vibe that doesn’t try too hard — which honestly feels refreshing after seeing so many over-the-top hotel designs in New York. It’s a four-star property that knows what it’s doing, and you can tell from the moment you step inside that they’ve thought about the details that actually matter to travelers.
Location That Actually Works
Here’s the thing about Hell’s Kitchen — it’s one of those neighborhoods that locals love but tourists sometimes overlook, and that’s exactly what makes this spot so perfect. You’re literally steps from Times Square when you want that energy, but you can also duck into authentic Thai places and dive bars that haven’t been completely touristified yet. The subway access is fantastic (which, let’s be honest, can make or break a New York trip), and I mean, couples are rating the location 9.5 out of 10 for good reason. You can walk to Central Park, catch a Broadway show, or just wander around discovering the kind of neighborhood spots that make you feel like you’re getting the real New York experience.
The Room Experience
The room design strikes that perfect balance between sleek and comfortable — you know, the kind of space where you actually want to hang out rather than just crash. The windows are generous, which matters more than you’d think when you’re staying in Manhattan, and the beds are genuinely comfortable (not just hotel-marketing comfortable). What I really appreciated was how they’ve maximized the space without making it feel cramped, which is honestly an art form in this city.
Practical Perks
The breakfast-to-go situation is actually brilliant if you think about it — you can grab something quality and eat it in Central Park or while you’re exploring, rather than being tied to a hotel dining schedule. And here’s something that’ll save you both money and headaches: they have private parking right at the hotel. Anyone who’s tried to deal with Manhattan parking knows this is basically like finding gold. It’s one of those amenities that seems small until you need it, and then you realize how much stress it eliminates.
Why Guests Love It
What really sets this place apart is how it manages to feel both connected to the city’s energy and removed from its chaos. You’re in the thick of everything that makes New York exciting, but when you come back at the end of the day, there’s this sense of having your own calm corner of the madness. The staff seems to get that balance too — they’re helpful without being intrusive, and they know the neighborhood well enough to point you toward things you might not find on your own. It’s the kind of hotel that makes you feel like you’re staying somewhere that understands both New York and what travelers actually want from their experience here.

Exceptional
Excellent location, friendly hosts and metro station at 1 block away...
What could be improved: Shower could be better, but I believe that is as per local regulations (less pressure) , but nothing serious.
If the room had a coffee machine would have been perfect. But again not a big deal
a great place for a tourist visit - close to Times Square , subways and cabs passing by.
Everything was excellent EXCEPT the breakfast . for a cooked breakfast we had to go to a nearby cafe and for a day's tourist visit, a coffee and cake offered by the hotel was insufficient
What could be improved: only the lack of a good breakfast . But an excellent cafe COSMOS , opposite is recommended
Happy with our stay
We recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful time! The location is fantastic, and the room size was absolutely great. The cleanliness was exceptional, and the reception staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The beds were so comfortable, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, we were extremely happy!
What could be improved: There are just two small areas for improvement. First, the soundproofing wasn’t quite what we expected. Of course, this is New York, so some noise is understandable, but we’ve stayed in other hotels with stronger sound isolation. Luckily, being on the ninth floor made it more manageable. Perhaps our room’s window wasn’t sealing properly, so that could be worth checking.
The other point is coffee there wasn’t any provided in the room, which surprised us for a four-star hotel. That said, the hotel’s coffee shop is excellent, and the baristas do a fantastic job, so at least there was great coffee available right downstairs.
Coffee in four star hotels should be provided.
All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider coming back

Excellent stay in New York
My stay at the hotel was truly excellent, nothing to say about the location, the comfort of the room, the cleanliness, the professionalism of the receptionist Joyana.
A perfect stay.
Wonderful
The central location and ice and fresh water were very close to our room.
Perfect, would recommend to anyone!
Excellent location, staff and super comfortable room
What could be improved: Nothing!
Great location
Great location, especially to the subway. Very quiet despite the busy location. Great room size, but I did pay for it.
What could be improved: Very thin walls. Couple hear arguments/duscussions going on next door. Water machine overflowing and difficult to use.
