What could be improved: The room was cleaned only 1 day on 4 of stay

We were in to check out a school for my daughter and I had originally booked The Shoreham; when we checked in I immediately looked for another hotel. (Complete dump, but that’s another review). Hotel Park Ave has been undergoing renovations and they have done a fantastic job. From the second you step in the staffed doors you know that this is not an economy hotel. The staff are beyond friendly and helpful- they were a pleasure to interact with each time.
The room was very well appointed, including slippers and a Turkish robe. Beds are comfy. Nice wall and room decorations. We felt so comfortable there. Bathroom has all of the toiletries with dual shower heads.
The only negative thing I have to say is that the bathroom is an echo chamber, so keep that in mind when you are in there…… you cannot hide anything.
I am already looking forward to our return stay at the Hotel Park Avenue.

I recently stayed at this property and while the location was excellent and the staff was friendly and accommodating, there were several aspects that fell short of expectations. Unfortunately, the TV and in-room phone were not functioning during our stay. The complimentary breakfast consisted of a banana and yogurt, which we would’ve appreciated being informed of beforehand. Additionally, the pillows were quite uncomfortable and have left me with neck and shoulder discomfort. While the service and location were definite highlights, the overall experience could be improved with better amenities and communication.

The staff were amazing and so accommodating, especially Vedron and Morgan. Customer service from all the staff was outstanding, which is not always the case in NYC.
The rooms were clean, good size and had all the required facilities.

The location is fantastic, and the personnel was really nice. The room itself was spacious, and the value for money really good. Booking also offered a taxi ride which went really well.

What could be improved: The breakfast was lacking

The location was great - just a 3 minutes walk to 33 station on the green line, which goes through central places (and you can also change lines easily from close stations).
The room was spacious and perfectly planned - including a small fridge and a closet to unpack the luggage (which most of the rooms we checked in NY do not have).
The staff was friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was OK - included all basic ingredients (bread and spreads, pastries, pancakes, french toasts, cornflakes, yogurt, some fruits and drinks - coffee, tea and orange juice).
The terrace is very nice (in the summer we would probably eat breakfast outside, but it was too cold for this).
The hot chocolate in the lobby was excellent! (Our stay was for Christmas and New Year - but I would leave it all year long...).

What could be improved: During busy days/hours, waiting for the elevator took long time (there are only 2 elevators for the whole hotel) - most of the time it was OK.
The breakfast could include more healthy stuff - more fruits (usually there were only apples, sometimes also bananas), vegetables (there were none), maybe eggs (there were none). Anyway, it was satisfactory..
The breakfast space was a couple of times too crowded (this probably does not happen in the summer, when people can go to the terrace), but maybe replacing some of the sofas with small tables and chairs would help).
