The rooms themselves are exactly what you’d expect from Sheraton – nothing fancy, but everything works and the beds are actually comfortable. I stayed on the eighth floor and honestly barely heard any street noise, which in New York feels like a minor miracle.

Here’s what I really appreciated though – the little things that show someone’s paying attention. The elevators are fast (trust me, this matters when you’re tired), there’s always hot coffee in the lobby, and the housekeeping staff actually restocks the bathroom amenities properly. I stayed there during a busy week in October and never had issues with hot water or weird temperature fluctuations that seem to plague so many older hotels in the city. The fitness center is small but has decent equipment if you need to burn off some of those amazing deli sandwiches from the neighborhood. Parking is expensive, sure, but that’s Manhattan for you – at least they have a garage arrangement nearby so you’re not circling blocks looking for a spot. If you’re planning to explore Wall Street, Trinity Church, or catch a ferry to the Statue of Liberty, you’re basically in the perfect spot without paying those insane prices closer to Times Square or Midtown.
