The staff at check-in was very helpful and welcoming, if I am not mistaken the receptionist name was Yashur (sorry if I'm wrong). I saw many reviews were complaining about elevators but we didn't have any issue. Everything was amazing during our stay. Hotel is located in a nice area, walking distance from many attractions, breakfast was nice and rich and the rooftop provides you with amazing views. There is also a gym, small shop, and luggage storage. We will definitely come back when we visit New York again.

The hotel is located at a very nice place - quite central and communicative. We were only walking or using taxis, so cannot comment on the proximity to subway stations. The room was spacious enough and quite comfortable - especially the beds. The view was stunning - we got our suite on the 21nd floor and we could see from our windows Empire State building, One World Trade Center, Crysler building, etc. Quite noisy if you keep windows open but that is expected if you are located on one of the key boulevards. Breakfast was good enough - there was a choice for each taste. Half of the personnel were very nice, the other half - quite grumpy and unpleasant (especially a guy taking the dishes away at breakfast, not the younger one but the other one). Also, something that you see in the US is that tip is almost directly begged off which we find both weird and not right. One will always tip if they decide so and if they are happy with the service. Getting those QR codes and notes asking for tip is ridiculous, it would most probably trigger the opposite reaction. We have only seen this in Canada and in the US - must be something local. Never seen this in Europe. One could easily guess why for example one of the waitresses at breakfast was so artificially polite, it was very obvious. Apart from this, we checked out on the 3rd of September and we had the pleasure to communicate with the most pleasant and supportive receptionist - we did not get what her name is due to the rush but she is the one who also helped us with our suitcases to the taxis, without us asking for that - top notch customer service. Thank you for that! You made a huge difference! All in all, we are happy with our choice and we would definitely consider getting back.

The receptionist "v" was excellent and very welcoming. Give her a raise The older lady in the breakfast room was also excelleet as well and she deserves a raise . Both are very valuable employee. Breakfast was very crowded and could be a bigger area.

Hotel was clean, beds comfortable, room service excellent and really nice staff. Coffee, etc. refilled every day and extra provided on request. Food and beverages were available to buy from reception and it was in a good location near to subway stations and around 15 minutes walk from Macys. Added a picture from the window of the room.

Excellent location and friendly staff. The room was clean and we had daily housekeeping. The breakfast was decent too. The view of the Empire State building and the city from the room was a very pleasant surprise.

They gave me a complimentary upgrade to a suite, with stunning views over the 6th avenue etc. Fantastic room, clean, comfortable, very suitably located. Breakfast was good, but room could be a bit nicer and larger.
